Seán Hewitt talks Immram

Join us to hear award winning poet, author and critic Seán Hewitt read Immram, his poem from Issue 9 of fourteen poems. Seán will discuss the poem and his work in general and read a second poem. We’ll also hear a favourite poem from another writer.

Seán Hewitt is a poet, writer and critic based in Dublin, Ireland where he teaches Modern British & Irish Literature at Trinity College. His debut collection, Tongues of Fire (Jonathan Cape, 2020), was shortlisted for The Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award in 2021, and won The Laurel Prize in 2021. His critically acclaimed memoir, All Down Darkness Wide (Jonathan Cape), was released in 2022, and shortlisted for Biography of the Year at the Irish Book Awards. He was awarded The Rooney Prize for Irish Literature in 2022.
