We’re so pleased to be able to offer Fourteen Umami Poems, a product of a collaborative project between London-based fourteen poems and Istanbul queer feminist press Umami Kitap.

The book features three poems each by fourteen emerging LGBTQ+ poets writing in Turkish. The project saw poets published by fourteen poems hosting seminars with the poets and offering advice on writing and getting published.

Umami then hosted workshops, edited the books, and held live events across Turkiye.

At a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under attack globally, forming alliances across countries can only strengthen us more. We’re so happy to have worked with the brilliant Umami and thrilled to have these incredible poems in the world.
